Everlasting Friendship

Wed, 12/11/2019 - 23:37 -- NMHideo

Wandering the earth with no purpose,

In search of fulfilling the empty glass,

Eyes full of determination to compose,

Noting the desolate place without grass.

A pathway carved with smiling faces,

A warmth of a breeze flows in the air,

Walking upon the  path with a slow pace,

The person had dressed with flair.

Reaching at the end of the fork,

A person awaits with a wide smile,

Holding in the bag a wine closed with a cork,

A wide grin is formed at 300 kilowatts a mile.

Friendships created eons ago in the past,

Leaves a treasure precious in the present cast.
