Equality: The Inherent Right

Location

They all walked in the rain that day

waiting for their time

the time when they would find a way

desegregate- be free.

She marched for the right to chose

their leader for the time

to leave the stereotypical shoes

finally: women's rights.

But now the children of the freed

feel oppression of their own

they want to follow in the creed

of equality as shown

Hatred of the people who

naturally like their kind

or of those who feel not true

as the gender they were born

of people who have gages

or tattoos on their arms

why are all these people

being treated wrong?

By those under the steeple

made to feel they don't belong.

They are people plain and true

It's really black and white

there's nothing more that we can do

but treat everyone right.
