Equality

Location

As dawn arrives in the small town of Anamoros, the sound of sellers begins

Watermelon, Tomato, Batteries, Beds, Furniture it never stops

Everyone is up and about as soon as the day begins

There is no one asleep the party essentially never stops

The world could learn a simple lesson this town displays

It is that no one is superior, not even the neighbors or even the kids

However money does play a key factor it is not all about displays

The world could learn that everyone treats everyone the same; likewise the kids

The world is filled with critique and judgmental emotions

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions

Change could be made to erase those inferior and superior emotions

Equality and impartiality in abundance in opinions

Change cannot come overnight

Looking back at this small town however I believe it could be possible

Rome wasn’t built in a day, but stars always come out overnight

From Washington to Atlanta, From Lisbon to Tbilisi, From Longyearbyen to Puerto Williams

Equality and respect can be made possible
