How could you not understand?
How badly the rich has the upper-hand
When everybody is chasing the dollar
They will always have us under their collar
And under their commands we holler
Since money is the world's dictator
Whoever has more is suddenly greater
It's difficult to satisfy a person's greed
And that's why we always want and need
We let ourselves become weak
It's our fault, we make our lives bleak
When it is only money that we seek
So it seems, so it seems our body is free
But our minds will never be
