Empty company

She sits staring into space, talking, and waiting

she wants to speak,but can't

it's in her head holding on to that one word

her best friend comes in gracefully, quietly

no one knows she's there but,her

They sit having a conversation, dad busts in with so much frustration,

she turns he then began striking her,

he leaves,she weeps

her father doesn't see her friend,so they talk

she sits staring into space, talking, and waiting

she then realizes that her friend is her insanity,

Infanitly giving her empty company.
