You're way too fragile, little girl.
Wipe those tears from your eyes and start again.
You're way too shy, little girl,
but this is your life.

You are on the edge with a choice to make
to waste away or fly away.
But it's yours to make--don't lose faith.
It's yours alone.
Yours alone.

Words like daggers fill my heart
and drown me in shame.
But I don't care because whatever they say
can never change my name

You hurt me, you used me
when I was at my weakest.
You broke me, you bruised me,
but I don't have to take this.

I will rise above;
I will rise above you.

You're way too fragile, little girl.

Nice technique making this a circular poem, since the first and last lines are the same- it really helps the reader to relate to the more intense, painful parts.
