Eating air

Sat, 03/19/2022 - 19:30 -- Kkas26

The sight of food makes her gag

She hears the echos of others chewing and crunching

But all she can here is the fat jokes, and how shes too heavy to be a alive

How she becomes a stick but no ones knows how unhealthy she does it

Thank goodness muscle weighs more than fat or she would have been caught

Caught not eating

Caught starving herself to keep her body slim

Caught working out on concussions and about to pass out but forces herself to keep going

She eats one meal a day. A half of the meal and a half air

she says "I'm full"
Its not her stomach thats full its her anxiety

She fears the shaming and the bulge of her stomach

But then... She gives up

She stops pleasing others, and lets herself eat

Her body is shocked and doesnt hold much but its growing

She is her own critic

shes learning to not listen to her voice that is screaming to stop

Screaming all the insults and hidden jokes that have been ingrained in her head

she won't give into the voice. Not this time
