Dying on the inside (DEPRESSION)

Dying on the inside

Eagerly waiting for a rainbow to end the storm within

Passing days feel like years, the calendar your only connection to reality

Repulsion at yourself, at your pathetic weakness when up against your own mind

Entirely devoted to searching out your own cure like some Christopher Columbus without a map of where you have been and where you are going

Sleepless nights playing a compilation of thoughts on how you are a defected organism that's trying to destroy itself for the greater good of the genepool

Senseless panic attacks ensue

Impossible terrors make your anxiety spiral out of control without warning

Only way out is to fight, but....

Not everyone makes it out of the ring alive
