Dwelling on the past, facing heartbreak
Thinking he was all you ever had and needed
Wanting to feel loved but getting hurt,
Time after time…
Forgiving but never forgetting
Always finding your way back
Stuck. Trapped. Lost
In love.
Somewhat knowing what you want,
But never knowing what you need
Not looking at the more important things in life,
To succeed.
Forcing your mind, body, and soul to collaborate
Their selves to this man who does not appreciate
You…
Never wanting to elaborate,
On the situation that hurt you in the past.
Letting this man control the beauty and essence
Of you…
You, who holds the key to your heart,
You, who should always know when to depart,
From love.
You, who can put the ends to stop
And open up new and better beginnings.
It’s you.
