Dreams Will Always Fight Reality

Sun, 01/12/2014 - 01:12 -- gibby

It felt so real, it could have been true—

The way his arms caressed me, strong, never letting go.

The rain like pellets fell, dancing— around entwining torsos;

Surrendering lips knew nothing but each other.

But this— this can’t be real for me anymore.

He was some boy I'd just met.

I should have known never to fall in love with someone like that,

Because I— I exist don’t exist in his reality anymore.
