Dreamer

A thousand thoughts from many places

One tiny home and tiny spaces

Oh dreamer let your wild heart roam

You can't reside in just one home

Don't let narrow minds become your cell guards

How can you sit by a window so small and barred

Fly free for that is what you were meant to do

Pretty little bird don't stop being you

Oh dreamer don't let them get you down

Don't let your sky be turned around

And let your heaven be turned to hell

You weren't meant to remain in a tiny shell

Don't stop beautiful dreamer, don't die

You know your dreams are more than just what makes the time go by

Oh please sweet dreamer don't turn away I beg, I plead

Don't hide away the beauty that you bleed

Don't sleep, oh restless wonder, wander on

You are blessed with a quest to ponder

To discover and invent

Oh you dreamer, reality seems hell bent

To prove itself to be truly real

But real cannot be only what you feel

Dreamer, keep dreaming, let them make you

Dreamer, keep dreaming, make them come true
