Don't text and Drive

Two that love, driving and texting each other

to the hope that they will be together.

they have a special place, an intersection where there's all set,

this very place is the first place that they ever met.

They text each other flirting back and forth,

giving in their relationship all their worth,

They crash into each other at this very intersection,

ending their ever so deep connection,

both were mid-text with their phones in their gaze,

they did not pay attention until they saw the sun's rays.

now forever they will be so close,

but they won't be able to achieve what all want the most

their gaze on the road, lost for just a second,

caused a catastrophe big enough to end it,

all who stand around are shocked at the sight, and just before they pass,

they realize they hit each other at the corner of the street "Class"

the guy was going to propose going through his mind,

so happy with joy, his emotions inclined,

and the woman driving so fast,

it was their anniversary, one year past.

meaning all you ever knew can be taken away in a glance,

that means you have one choice to make from this stance,

don't text and drive, the message rings true,

or that final look can lead to your eternal doom.
