Why should I care what people think?
Don’t have no photo filter
I might not be a model -
But I’m confident in how I look
Why should I care what society thinks?
Don’t care about society’s expectations
I’m creative and my own person
I love expressing myself all over the place
Why fit in?
Don’t have no time for filters,
My photos look more realistic without ‘em
My photos express more creativity without ‘em
Why shouldn’t I express myself without being fake?
Don’t care ‘bout wordy filters
Don’t need to be politically correct
Don’t need to say what people want me to
Why shouldn’t I be me and be authentic?
I care about being me,
Having people know who I really am
Having people know that I’m not intimidated
By what society thinks of me.
What’s this ‘They’ everyone talks about?
Why should what ‘Everyone will think’ affect me?
I want to be who I’m meant to be,
Not when ‘They’ try pushing every circle in a square.

I’m a creative, free thinking individual
I’m passionate about what I do
I love what I do

I’m someone who people respect
I’m respected for breaking stereotypes
I’m respected for just being me
I love being me.
I love being authentic.
I love doing what makes me feel good.
I love accomplishing what I set out to do.
