Do You Believe In White Lies?

Location

A mask is the safest form of deciet

I hide behind a disguise

A disguise of extreme optimism or pessimism

To keep people from knowing how empty I sometimes feel inside,

No matter the situation, an inch out of my comfort zone is out of the question.

I'm trapped.

Trapped by my my own fears.

Failure. Humiliation. Judgement. Disappointing. Growing up.

I just want to feel free.

Safe.

At home in my own skin.

I try. I hope.

And I can only cross my fingers and begin again.
