Dispair

People walking,
People talking,
No one notices me.

I am shouting,
I am screaming.
Can anyone hear me?

No one stops,
No one stares,
No one looks,
No one cares.

People hurry,
People worry,
I think I can help.

I'm corrected,
I'm rejected,
Something I've often felt.

They don't mean it,
They don't know
That they've done it,
It's always so.

People run and
People hide
From the truth they see inside.

I don't run,
I won't hide
From the truth I see inside.

Truth, hide not!
I beg, I plead.
They hide it still;
Increase their speed.

Pent up passion
Ever hidden,
Bubbles as I write.

Will they see it?
Will they read it?
I do hope they might.

I want the world
To see the truth.
They push me away
And still hold aloof.
