DESPERATELY SEEKING YOU

Desparately seeking you

He had no right to do us this way.
We were so perfect together.
We never worried the other would stray.
It was just we and us , no him or her.

Then he  had to get all screwed up
Mad at his other half  then  condemned us
For what the two of them messed up
Their chance at forever and  happiness

When he cursed our lives  this way
He sent us to opposite ends of the world
Making me wonder if I'll find you one day
Would you know me, or  have a new girl.

I long to hear  the sound of your laughter
To sit and enjoy our lives as one again
Knowing that we could possibly be together.
so much in love and happy back then.

Someday I'll find the missing part of me
The constant companionship  of soulmates
Living life the way it could possibly be
fooling around as we could finally procreate.
