Demeter is tired.

For she is in charge of balancing the harvest among the high temperatures

that humans cause.

We have been working her too hard;

when it is time for her to rest for the cold months,

she rests, but too much

for the temperatures get colder every winter,

only to increase when she awakes to work again, 

causing her exhaustion to rise, and then, 

the cycle repeats only more extreme each time. 

All humans do is sit back and complain 

about the heat, the cold

but Demeter is the one that feels the pain.

When will we learn: WE ARE HEATING UP THE GLOBE.
