Deluded Presence

Location

A girl is walking on the shore.

The waves cuddle her toes,

the wind tickles her cheeks.

Like marriage,

the coastline nurtures her soul,

her existence.

Only death,

can break their bond.

The waves release her toes,

violently strike her body.

The wind detaches from her face,

leaves her behind.

Like divorce,

the coastline disconnects with her soul,

her existence.

Death,

has broken their bond.
