A Delicate Situation

He couldn't stop crying

Prying into his soul, that was now bare.

It felt like he was dying.

His love could only stare.

She could hear the noises of the birds

As time stood still

Her mouth empty of words

She felt very ill.

She could not believe this.

The man she loved was full of lies.

And she had been seduced with the sweet bliss

That were his honey colored eyes.

But now he lays there.

Begging for forgiveness

Stripping his soul bare

With his love as a witness.
