Deep Throat

Deep Throat

I wrote a verse, I told men shot down in the town

Cops are up to no good, they give us a bad name.

I walk the street night and day, cops try to stop me,

But see I’m a girl, they tell me to go home,

Cause the black man is out to get me too

I just don’t know it yet, they say I’m too caught up,

When I go to jail I think he’ll bail me out,

When I put up my life I think he’ll save me,

But the cops say I’ll end up laid to rest.

I got in a gang and bought a gun,

Cause cops are up to no good, I could tell,

When I was in harm way, I’d call them

And there would be no sign, they say they trust in God,

I want to ask what God, the one fresh out my mouth?

I got out of jail, I went to where home is,

I had sex with my first black man that night,

My black man said “I thought I said don’t tell”

But I had got sick of jail and told the cops truth

And wound up with a gun down my deep throat.
