Death by bullying

Will you cry at her funeral,
Will you feel guilty if you knew?
That’s she’s lying in this coffin,
And it’s all because of you.

Those weeks at school,
I’ll never forget.
That horrible day,
When you and her met.

Every evening she would come home,
And tell me of her day.
How her life had no sunshine,
It was just dark and grey.

I’d tell her every morning,
God loves you all the same.
But she couldn’t understand,
If he loved her, then why all this pain?

I never thought my darling girl,
Would do that to her self.
All I have are memories,
And that picture on our shelf.

She told me her troubles,
I listened but didn’t act.
If only I had done more,
Then I could have my daughter back.

TO ALL THOSE PARENTS OUT THERE,
WHO LISTEN BUT DON’T SPEAK.
MY CHILD DIED OF BULLYING, LETS STOP IT,
OR IT COULD BE YOURS NEXT WEEK.

I am but a teen but I know bullying first-hand. I've seen it and I was verbally bullied as well. I picked this poem because it hit close to home.

i've been verbally bullied for 8 years. I stopped telling the adults because they never did anything, you should be lucky that she told you instead of just dissapearing one day without any reasons. This was a great poem.
