Unwilling to accept the pain he caused,

When all he seemed to do was break the laws.

Living life with regret for the time we spent,

He broke my heart and now there is a dent.

He was a big waste of my time and tears,

I wish I could take back some of those years.

He said he loved me but he broke my heart,

For now it is in many little parts.

I had made new friends and learned to move on,

So now I can show him that I stand strong.

It's not letting go,

It's looking past,

Of what we had and what I thought would last.

I don't think I can love anybody like this,

Dear lover,

Give me one last painful kiss.
