Dear Best Friend,

Sun, 12/24/2017 - 12:41 -- JMad892

I will be here when you graduate

I will be here on your wedding day

And I might kill you if I am not a bridesmaid

I will be here when you pack and chant

about how you are never coming back

I will be here to see you off

I will be here when it all pays off

I will be here when you cut your hair

I will be here when you start to care

about the guys and the jocks

I will be here when you just need to talk

I will be here when you begin to wear lipstick

I will be here when you get homesick

I will be here when nothing makes sense

I will do anything to carry you through the defense

I will be here when you start to make friends

I will be here when it feels like the end

I will be here while you travel the city

I will be here until the nitty gritty

I will be here through the ups and downs

through every twist and curve

Even when we get on each other's nerves,

you were always more than I deserve.

I will be here when you come home

I will be here when you leave

I will be here when you're sad and have to grieve.

I promise with all my heart I am never letting go.
