Days Go By Silently

Painfully waiting
The desire to be with you
wanting to hear you
Listen to your words
that bring comfort
Your silly ways
and funny tantrums
Your passions and perspectives

The confinements of person
Who moves you to move mountains
and kiss a million nanometers on their skin. Just to say I love you.

I thought I knew what unhappiness was
Because it came with you too
Certain times it dominated us both
But never ungrateful
Seldom remorseful
We knew what we wanted
And we stubbornly clinged to it
Completing my everything
Forever with you
With me
