Daybreak

2 Peter 1:1919 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;  Daybreak

Daybreak where are you ... I only see night?

I awoke and you were gone.

When will my day start … What does it mean?

When absence light leaves me alone?

It is said man loves darkness ... much more than light.

It hides their intentions it seems.

But then I know better. Even light penetrates

At times opens up visions in my dreams.

When you discover ... that all is still there even the things

you thought long forgotten.

And you wake up in the night when nothing seems right

As everything appears dark and rotten.

What is the reason ... why the ups and downs?

What is the purpose of feelings?

Happy and sad …peaceful and mad

Straightforward and wheeling-dealing.

Is there no end to depravity’s bend?

Is there no way of escaping?

Jesus always everywhere...

He is the One we’re needing.
