The Dark Side of the Spectrum

Location

One of the things I would like to change:

The right to love and marry whomever even if he/she is gay.

Let's cherish those who are attracted to the same sex,

Forging a bond, hoping for brighter beginnings.

The right to love and marry whomever even if he/she is gay.

Why are we, as society, allowed to deem it not okay?

Love is like a bed of flowers; each grows uniquely.

Let's free ourselves from fear of all of this divergence.

Why are we, as society, allowed to deem it not okay?

To love, comfort, and honor for better or worse, couples who are gay.

Globally interdependent, we strive for change, LGBT rights are no exception.

Can we cease the brewing, spewing intolerable hate because we all know that’s not the way for change?
