Daily Gaily

Is

This

Not

The

Very

Nation

Built on religion

That goes to elaborate

A clear

Segregation

Between

Church

And

State

And the same country that

Promotes individuality, leadership,

And

A melting pot consisting

Of

Whatever ingredients that it takes

The same citizenry that supposedly

Appreciates

Diversity,

Cultures,

And multiple facets,

Yeah that one

It's two-faced

Hypocritical to say the least

And here's why I can't sleep

Because the philosophy is that we are stronger united

Quite frankly, we must be really weak

So how can we refuse rights to gays

Logically,

When the spine of the argument

Comes from

What

The

Church

Says

Well then your brain is handicapped

And that's a fact

Because we've come a long ways

From following the beliefs of others

That's why we originally left from the mother

Land,

Of

The

Free

Home

Of

The

Brave

More

Like

Free if you're not a freak, dyke or gay

See

I can't see straight

Since that long wait for equal rights

Was a complete waste

Without haste

Or second thought

What we fought for in past

Years

And endeared

Was at the cost

Of

Gaining what was never loss

Apparently you are born free

Guess I would have never known

For I was born in the USA

United

States

Of

Animosity
