What is it that makes me smile?

That causes wrinkles on my forehead and dimples on my cheeks

The simple joys of living, the daily blessings from heaven 

What is it that makes me happy?

It is cotton ball clouds racing across the deep blue sky

Painted  sunsets  illuminating the evening horizon

Flocks of birds twisting and twirling

Changing direction at a moment's notice

My baby brother with an ice cream mustache

Fingers sticky and dripping

Complete with a bright smile that lights up my day 

Each moment spent with my family

The love they pour out caresses, protects and supports

Yes this is what makes me happy

They are daily blessings that make me smile.
