Daddy

Daddy, what's wrong?

All I can see is your face.

Your hands wrapped around my neck, black spots cloud my vision.

I can barely breathe.

Daddy, why do you hate me so much?

I paid for mommy's mistakes,

and now I think that it's my time.

I have done nothing wrong.

Daddy what have I done?

I wish I knew, but my young mind cannot comprehend.

You wish to teach me a lesson, of what you think I did wrong.

But I have done nothing.

Daddy, what happened?

I am almost dead,

and my last dying wish

is that the same fate does not land upon my little brother and sister.

Daddy, what have you done?
