Currently: In Depression

Wed, 10/13/2021 - 22:05 -- mad.max

My mind is slipping

Although the world is not actually ending,

In the moment, it is for me

I am in a confusing reality.

Words come at me,

I just want to be free.

Free from all the numbness,

the idea of false togetherness.

To garner sanity, is to stay tune to insanity.

Is it not backwards, to move forward with more madness that is demanded

While you drown in the sea of sadness, your emotions has you in a disadvantage.

This feeling, it brushes and pulls my hair

What a joy, oh this despair.

I found it one afternoon,

And all it did was stay.

When I told it to go away.
