The Crush Of Lifetime

You’re the crush of a lifetime.

You’re always on my mind.

I whisper to my girls like, “ooo, girl, ain’t he fine ?”

I want you to be mine, but that’s impossible.

Because you’re so beautiful, you make me forget anything I’ve ever learned.

Words unspoken, but in a notebook also known as the hopebook. Know that you’re my crush, and that you have definitely caught my eye.

You’re the crush of a lifetime, as I write this, I think “oh, how silly of me.” This “crush of a lifetime” doesn’t even notice me.

I dream you’d walk by and just say hi, and maybe ask for my number.

As I awake from my slumber, all I can do is sigh.

I’m the shy girl, you’re every girl’s dream, which is why we could never be.

My direction is affection, but rejection keeps having its way with me.

I’m scared, I’m awkward, this is just too much for me, as you can see.

Goodbye, crush of a lifetime. We only exist in dreams, we could never be reality, since fear only exists in me.
