Countless Blessings

Thu, 02/11/2016 - 14:28 -- A-7

Tell me, when did we lose sight of our blessings,

Now we spend our days, worrying and stressing,

About the very things, that we can't obtain,

Ambition kills the heart, slowly numbs the brain,

Leaving you with pain, from all that you've lost,

You look at all you can gain, but subtract the costs,

Take a moment, just a minute, and you'll soon recognize,

That you have so many blessings that you didn't realize,

Chasing worthless things will keep your flesh gratified,

Leaving you with an empty soul thats never satisfied,

Be thankful for your blessings, the ones that can't be bought or sold,

Thank God for your life, your health, the loved ones you hold...
