Count the Cost (I Hope That You Hate Me)

Yeah, I hope that you hate me,
Cuz you know I can't explain myself.
I hate to break your rosy lenses
But it's worse to keep you feeling led on

There's nothing to give you
That you can't get from Abba above.
It was hard enough to get you out my head
But it's worse to get me off of this train.

You have a light that shines brighter than the sun.
I know one day it'll be loved by someone else.
But then you said I still don't understand.
If I'm such a beautiful thing then why don't you love me

She said
When - when is it my - when's it my turn
I - I have the love - all love to give
When - when is it my - when's it my turn
I - I am the one - the one to give

God find her love before this sun snuffs out
God she's had enough of this really dumb game.

Yeah I hope that you hate me
Cuz I can't stand to hate myself.
I had to kill you here in my head
And that blood is still on all of my hands.

Yeah you don't have to hate me.
Just love the man who was Crucified
I hope you start counting the cost
Of that cross you will be carrying

You have a light that shines brighter than the sun.
I know already it is loved by someone above.
But then you said I still don't understand.
If I'm such a beautiful thing then why don't you love me

She said
When - when is it my - when's it my turn
I - I have the love - all love to give
When - when is it my - when's it my turn
I - I am the one - the one to give
