The Corner

Location

I hear the pressing and sound,

Of the universe milling around.

I draw myself further in,

To avoid joining them.

To be still.

To shrug off the stress.

To move at my will

Without it being a test.

To be silent,

Alone in my mind.

To control my own moments

And lead my own time.

I'll just sit in this corner

Away from the rest,

And ponder which one of my moves will be next.
