Consciousness

Consciousness

This is a journey.

My heart leads and I follow.

I feel, I decide.

I care for others.

And in this way, I live,

Always trying my best.

Then, one day

 New thoughts persist.

I discover others fighting battles.

I join them.

We march.

We rise our fists in protest.

But,

I also realize that,

My own battle is nowhere to be found.

So,

I turn my gaze away

From others' doings.

To

Look at thyself.

Consciousness is beautiful.

And necessary.

Consciousness induces questioning.

Consciousness inspires action.

I listen.

I open up.

I see my body, my skin, my hair.

My senses are alive.

My body breathes.

I know.

The time has come.

I am aware of my material,

Of what I am made of,

What I have to do.

I am sure.

I can see that path

Right there.

Clarity.

I do not know it all.

No clues.

Mystery.

Fear.

But,

I choose this path.

It is mine.

And when we choose our way, we are free.

We say it out loud.

We are free.

We can feel it.

Lightness.

Sweetness.

 Warm fire burning inside us.

We say it with confidence.

We are free.

Cause we see our purpose

Our treasure.

We are different.

Yes,

We have changed.

Just yesterday,

We did not dare to speak,

Or raise our voices.

Everyone came in before us.

Remember?

Our stories did not matter.

Well,

Not anymore.

We reflect.

We transform.

We are gentle and loving with ourselves.

We embrace our journey,

The beginnings,

The middle stages,

And all of the transitions in between.

We understand.

We are grateful.

Now, we take the reins.

We are entities,

Ambassadors.

We are proud.

We have achieved.

We feel light.

We can take deep breaths.

We shine.

Freedom is such a relief.

We move towards our future.

Our blessings.

We thank our fellow humans,

Our partners,

Our friends.

And we have ourselves.

 We believe.

We are strong.

We are powerful.

We are capable.

This is it.

We are conscious.

We have a mission.

We need to get to work.

We need to stand up and

Make our world a better place to love.

This is important.

This is about our contribution to

Wellness, peace and justice.

We share

Our strength,

Our vision.

We are allies.

We have allies.

Community.

Togetherness.

We do not know it all at first,

But,

That is OK.

We have

Trust,

Courage,

Bravery,

Compassion.

We are ready.
