Conscience

Slowly letting go of my childhood as a voice

leads me into the right direction.

I have no choice,

so I take a moment to look at my reflection.

I stare and analyze myself as if I'm searching for an answer.

Then, I finally realize that I'm starting my own chapter.

As I take a big step towards growth,

it feels like freedom has obtained me.

That voice inside my head

tells me that everything's going to be okay.

I'm my own person, nobody can stop me.

I have my own voice, nobody can silence me.

I have my own brain, I can think for myself.

I'm becoming a better person, and I truly love and accept myself.
