Concealment

Location

My blithe smile shelters my rage
For those who speak yet fail to listen
Know nothing of my truths
I once purged the darkness within me
Cast the shards of despair from my body
Accepted my fictitious faces as my blame
And let the cries of my rage
spring forth from my voice
from crimson sparks within
Yet no eyes nor ears bare witness
The darkness emerge from it's banishment
Covered my mettlesome heart with fear
Replaced my pith with docline compliance
And concealed my candor through hypocrisy
