Complacency... Complacency...

Complacency, Complacency, you sure have gotten me.

What happened to my strongest heart?

What happened to my passionate part?

I fell towards something not so great and fell so hard I filled up with hate.

How to start all over again?

Can I call it in?

I must retrieve my place and spot.

I must stand tall and have a thought.

This is where I need to be.

This is what I long to see.

Change, Love, and thoughtfulness.

Everyone trying their best.

Childish and a little naïve.

It is the best of recipes.

We need to know the facts.

But without love we will lack.

So here I stand, as firm as I can.

Maybe someday I will be a true man.
