Coming Back For More

He wraps his sore hands around an ice cold beer
Bartender asks how'd you make your way here?
He could barely hold back the tear rolling down his face
He has tried everything to stay out of this place
Hes been working real hard, to keep his mind off things
But when he walks through the door his reality stings
His wife just cant stand to look at him
He let's the punches roll, and it's out the door again

He keeps on coming back, coming back for more
"Just keep em coming, let the drinks pour
Dont stop til you gotta scrape me off the floor
And tomorrow I'll be coming back for more"

When he gets back home the kids are snuggled in bed
He turns their TVs off and kisses their heads
"I promise tomorrow will be a better day"
But tomorrow comes and goes the same way
The bruises on his wife scream out for help
Shes always contemplating killing her self
But she couldn't leave those kids with him
She let's the punches roll and hes out the door again..

He keeps on coming back, coming back for more
"Just keep em coming, let the drinks pour
Dont stop til you gotta scrape me off the floor
And tomorrow I'll be coming back for more"

"Put the drink down and come back home,
I cant stand seeing my mom alone,
The tears that she cries, wont you open your eyes
To what you're leaving when you're gone"

He keeps on coming back, coming back for more
He makes it home about a quarter past four
This time you could hear a pin drop to the floor
His family's gone, they wont be around no more
