Come Back Summer

This ain’t about a girl

It’s about my favorite season

When winter rolls around

I can’t find one good reason

To even go outside

Like my get up and go has died

And I’d rather not be freezin’

Come back summer, why’d you have to go

I fucking hate the snow

I miss your warmth and sunshine

Come back summer, why’d you have to leave

I don’t want to believe

I still have to wait a long time

My Christmas isn’t cheerful

When it’s twenty degrees

I’d rather sit outside

Watching bumble bees

I wanna take a walk in the park

When it’s not cold and dark

And there are leaves upon the trees
