the color of my skin
racism
a violation
of the right to e q u a l i t y
in other words
the color of our skin
determines our lifestyle
skin is skin
but we are different
the past
has stood with our
future
we still are treated unfairly
we continue to be
s eperated
from society
we continue to be
threatened for our lives
we continue to be
AFRAID
get shot
fought
and locked
as easy as
can be & reasons that cannot be
reasoned
we are one
and we matter
justice for all
and all for justice
for the rest of our
long lived lives
