Cold World

 

Sister, it is a cold world that we are living in.

I hope you are safe and have enough self-esteem.

I am alone and yet my heart is still warm.

Warm of love for even people who doesn’t deserve it.

People outside are so rude that 

All I want is to escape from my lovely soul.

 

Mother, it is a cold world that we are living in.

People will know the greatest gift that you passed on to me…

My big heart will be hurted many and many times,

Over and over again,

By people who only take my kindness for weakness,

And yet mama, all I want is to show how well I have been raised.

I am so lucky to have you in my life, my hero.

 

Best friend, it is a cold world that we are living in.

Promise me that you will become a part of my family

If you only plan to stay and tell me when I am wrong.

Hope we will never know those dark days

Where only cursing and telling each other's secrets

Will be the last card to play.

Your role is to replace those members of my family 

That did me dirty and still have the audacity 

To call themselves family.

 

To my future child, it is a cold world that you will be raised in.

Make sure that your heart will always be warmer than your words.

Hope you guys, will only show respect if it is reciprocal;

However, always do good to people no matter what happened!

Kill them with kindness my lovely child and follow your road.

 

The road will be full of obstacles, rude people,

Bad influences, hard moments, and many more!

No hard feelings loves, it will be a long road.

Life will teach them the lessons they missed in their life.

Make me, your mother, proud of the person 

You will turn out to be in this cold world.
