She's stays up at night wishing shed die
She looks in the mirror and says goodbye
She swallows the pills and the light starts to fade
Finally her one wish has been made
She wakes up in a hospital room
This one wish has turned to doom
She's over her best friends house the very next week
She acts fine cause she doesn't want tears on her cheeck
She's without telling her friends dad
He gets worried a kinda mad
Hes the only there that knows the close end
Not even her boyfriend
He tells them what happened and tears flood their eyes
Her boyfriend goes upstairs in the bathroom and cries
The love of his life almost died
And he wasn't there by her side
He wish he couldve stopped her and changed her mind
Just like he tried every other time
But he didn't this time, he feels so bad
He looks in the mirror and starts to get mad
He grabs the sharp blade and goes to cut his own arm
But he stops and thinks how shed feel if she knew of the harm
He did it before and made her upset
That's now how he wants her to get
He'd do anything to see her smile
He'd carry her a million plus miles
He puts the blade back and goes downstairs
He sees her there and they just stare
She asks "what's wrong? " with that curious look
With everything that's wrong he'd write a book
He just says nothing and gives her a hug
He starts to pull back and he feels a tight tug
He wishes he could make her happy the way she makes him
But he knows the light in her beautiful soul is too dim
But he doesn't like that he'll make it better
Even if it really does take forever
