Because I have faith you say I have no hope
You hear my voice and say it is shattered
I ponder the truth of your lies and say, "nope"
Righteousness, I see in the world, you battered

Because I see the truth you call me deceived
Throughout my life I know what I have believed
You say no I am not worthy, not true, since I'm not like you
You have brought me down and told me that I can't see it through
Well all that I have ever believed has stood through it all
Through this grand eternal journey of time, it stood tall
You cannot take me, you cannot take my heart, you cannot take my truth away from me it is everlasting without beginning and without end in my writing
