Emotions explode in a definite roar

Pushing rational thoughts away

Logic shatters across the marble floor

Leaving nothing but cities of gray

Now as I gaze into the open door

Equipped to enter the fray

My thoughts betray me more and more

But again I remember, it’s a new day.
