CHILLINGLY SUICIDAL

Tick tock, the clock now annoyingly sound,

In that quiet room, she weeps as pain holds her bound,

Deep down, she is nursing her depression wound,

With no hope for a better life being found

At dinner, she eats as she smiles across the table,

And no one would ever tell that she is not stable,

Only to her, the grief and solitude are well known as a fable,

Afraid of being judged, she withdraws as long as she is able

Not once has she walked towards that cliff,

Severally, for overdose, she held to that packet of pills stiff,

To think on how to finally end her woes and grief,

But a thought of her son as an orphan leaves her caitiff

Doesn’t seem like it, but she yearns her normal life,

She tries to reclaim it, but her mind and body are in strife,

Or would anyone notice her pain and show concern even if brief?

But none seem to care, all busy looking for means to thrive,

So she finally jumps off the rooftop, and ends her life
