The way people treat each other

Is something I would change

It something of which all of us are to are to blame

A teacher telling a student 

he's not smart enough to pass

The student bullying a person

Out the the money they may have 

That person might say 

something that really hurts

And from there it will only get worse  

It happens in America, in Sweden, in Rome 

Sometimes even closer to home

Of course we make just one change

This problem will never cause any more pain

Because peoples treatment will ripple 

people would not be the same

The teacher would help the student pull up his grades

The Student starts an anti-bullying campaign 

A person says something nice

 A ripple of kindness takes flight 

so make a change we all can do it

And when we really get down to it

We can change the treatment of others

And then change the world
