Change

I have made some stupid moves, regretted some of my choices,

I have tasted the sweet honey of booze and even had cannabis upon my lips,

This is what i used to turn to, when my life got rough,

I have been lost and confused, beaten and bruised, left out and forgotten about,

I'm not proud of some of the things i have done, when life challenged who i once was,

I have been there, done that and i have the t-shirt as my proof,

You can make a change, but it's your choice to make,

It all falls onto you, you can choose to stay on this reckless path or better yourself to change the world as it is today,

Don't say why me, but try me, don't wallow in self-pity because of what life has thrown at you,

Stand tall against the world, it will challenege you, but you got this and you can win,

You were built for whatever life throws at you,

There are always people to turn to, to speak this through,

Don't turn to the booze or the drugs, turn to those you love.
