Change

If I could change any one thing,

It wouldn't be just any one string.

I would change the way people see each other,

And I would make people love one another.

A single human would never be alone,

And loved ones would be finally known.

You will be told to be respected by him,

He will be told to not act so grim.

The cuts and bruises and scars will leave,

Your body and soul and system relive.

The torment people get each and every year,

The torture you endure with a single tear.

The sun will seem brighter each day,

As you make your pain fade completely away.

The lights inside you brighten up,

The strength and will filling your cup.

The planet will heal with it's healthy glow,

Encompassing life with a steady flow.

Whatever color or race, it does not matter

We should all be glad and enjoy our chatter.

Life is simple, and life is short,

To be living with hate we cannot resort.

So hear me out, when I say this to you,

If you could change the world, what would you do?
