Change

Location

Blackened skies fade to purple

Orange and red, then blue

Life is passing by

And nothing remains true

You’re all that’s there

In a twisting world of change

That remains leaving ne’er

That needn’t rearrange

You’re there when I need you

And even when I don’t

While everything else is new

While others forsake, you won’t

You remain, as do I

I’ll be with you to the end

Even after we die

I’ll still be your friend.
